Bosch Smart System: change the display language (Kiox 300/500, Intuvia 100, Purion 200)
On the Smart System the language of the display is a bike setting you can change; the language of the eBike Flow app itself is fixed at registration. Two minutes, no dealer.
Step by step
- Kiox 300/500: press < on the Mini Remote until the status screen, then press the select (centre) button to open Settings. Go to 'My Kiox' > 'Language', pick English and confirm. Press < to return.
- Intuvia 100: press and hold the menu button on the display until settings open, step to the language item with the arrows and confirm. If there is no language item, it follows the app.
- Purion 200, LED Remote, System Controller: these have no language menu; open the eBike Flow app > Settings (gear) > your eBike > Display/Language and choose the language.
- On newer firmware the display takes its language from the Flow app setting; if the on-display item is missing, use the app.
- The app's own language cannot be changed inside the app: it is taken from your phone's language and region at account creation.
Can't find it?
If the app is stuck in Dutch or German although your phone is English, that is the account-language issue Bosch acknowledges; there is no in-app fix, only a new account with the phone set to the right language first. The display language remains changeable regardless.
Frequently asked
Can I change the eBike Flow app language?
No. It is fixed from your phone's language/region when you register the account. Set the phone language first, then register.
Where is the language setting on the Kiox 300?
Settings > My Kiox > Language. On newer firmware it may follow the app instead.
Purion 200 has no menu, how do I change the language?
In the eBike Flow app under your eBike's settings; the Purion 200 shows mostly numbers anyway.
