Bosch Smart System: activate and use eBike Lock in eBike Flow
eBike Lock on the Smart System is free and uses your phone as the digital key: without the phone nearby the motor gives no support. Set up once in eBike Flow, three minutes.
Step by step
- Pair the bike with eBike Flow (see the app-pairing guide) and keep the bike on.
- In the app tap Settings (gear) > your eBike > 'eBike Lock' and switch it on. Confirm; the display or LED Remote shows a lock symbol at start-up.
- From now on the bike unlocks automatically when it starts with your phone (Flow app in the background, Bluetooth on) within range.
- Without the phone the bike rides as a normal bicycle: no motor support, lights still work.
- To switch off (for another rider, or before selling), open the same menu while connected and turn eBike Lock off. Purion 200 and Kiox 300 additionally show 'Lock' when the bike is locked.
Can't find it?
If the bike stays locked with the phone next to it: open eBike Flow, check the bike shows as connected, restart the bike. If the phone is lost, log in on a new phone with the same account. A dealer can remove eBike Lock with DiagnosticTool after proof of ownership.
