Bosch Smart System: turn the lights on and off, automatic and always-on lights

Bosch Smart System (Purion 200, Intuvia 100, Kiox 300/500, LED Remote, System Controller)

Lights are switched with the light button on the LED Remote / Mini Remote; eBike Flow can set automatic or always-on lighting where the manufacturer allows. One minute.

Step by step

  1. Switch the bike on.
  2. Press the light button (bulb icon) on the LED Remote or Mini Remote. An LED or symbol confirms; the Kiox 300 switches to its dark scheme.
  3. Press again to switch off.
  4. Automatic or always-on: eBike Flow > Settings > your eBike > 'Lighting' (or 'Light'); choose Manual, Auto (light sensor, if the bike has one) or Always on, if the option is offered for your bike.
  5. If the option is missing, the manufacturer fixed the behaviour (often always-on for NL/DE); a dealer can change it in DiagnosticTool where permitted.
Tip: Daytime running lights cost almost no range; leave them on for visibility.

Can't find it?

If the light button gives an error in the app or on the display, look up the code on our error-code pages; on the Smart System a shorted lamp cable produces a specific lighting error rather than just no light.
