Bosch Smart System: set the display brightness (Kiox 300/500, Intuvia 100, Purion 200)
Kiox 300/500 have automatic brightness with a manual override; Intuvia 100 and Purion 200 have fixed backlights that follow the lights. One minute.
Step by step
- Kiox 300/500: press < to the status screen, press select to open Settings > 'My Kiox' > 'Brightness'. Choose 'Auto' or a fixed level; confirm and press < to leave.
- Intuvia 100: press and hold the menu button; if a 'Brightness' item is present, set it there; otherwise the backlight follows the bike lights.
- Purion 200 and LED Remote: no brightness setting; the LEDs dim automatically with ambient light.
- In eBike Flow some app versions offer display brightness under Settings > your eBike > Display.
- Dark colour scheme on the Kiox 300 switches on automatically when the lights are on.
Tip: Keep Auto on the Kiox 300 unless a phone mount or bag shades its light sensor on the front edge.
Can't find it?
If the Kiox 300 stays dim, clean the light sensor on the top edge of the display and check Auto is selected. If Brightness is missing, update the display firmware via eBike Flow.
