How to change mph to km/h on the Aventon colour display

Aventon colour display (Level, Pace, Aventure, Soltera) + Aventon app

The Aventon colour display (Level, Level.2, Pace 500, Aventure, Aventure.2, Soltera) has units in its Display Settings. The Aventon app has its own unit setting.

Step by step

  1. With the display on and the bike stationary, press and hold the '+' and '-' buttons together for about 2 seconds to open Settings.
  2. Select 'Display Setting' and press '+'/'-' to reach 'Unit'. Press the power/mode button to enter it.
  3. Choose 'Metric' (km/h) or 'Imperial' (mph) and press the power/mode button to confirm.
  4. Select 'Exit' (or hold '+' and '-' again) to return to the ride screen.
  5. In the Aventon app: Profile > Settings > 'Units' > Metric / Imperial. The app and display units are independent.
Tip: The display only converts the readout; speed limit and wheel size stay as set.

Can't find it?

On the small monochrome display of the original Pace 350 / Level (2020) press and hold the power button twice quickly to enter settings, then 'Unit'.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
