How to set the time on the Aventon colour display

Aventon colour display (Level, Pace, Aventure, Soltera) + Aventon app

The Aventon colour display shows the time top-left. It syncs from your phone when the app is connected; without the app you set it manually in Display Settings.

Step by step

  1. Easiest: open the Aventon app and connect to the bike; the display takes the phone's time within a few seconds.
  2. Manual: With the display on and the bike stationary, press and hold the '+' and '-' buttons together for about 2 seconds to open Settings.
  3. Select 'Display Setting' > 'Time' (or 'Clock').
  4. Use '+'/'-' to set hours, press power/mode to move to minutes, set, confirm.
  5. Choose 12h or 24h in the same submenu on newer firmware.
  6. Exit; the clock keeps running while the battery is fitted.
Tip: The clock loses its setting when the battery is removed for more than a day or two; reconnect the app to resync.

Can't find it?

No 'Time' entry means your display firmware predates the clock feature; update via the app.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
