Bosch Kiox (BES2): enable and use walk assist

Bosch Kiox (BES2)

Walk assist pushes the bike at up to 6 km/h while you walk beside it. Built in; you use the WALK button and + on the control unit.

Step by step

  1. Switch the Kiox on and select any mode except OFF.
  2. Press the WALK button on the control unit once (on most units the small button underneath). 'Walk assist' appears on the Kiox.
  3. Within a few seconds press and hold +; the motor pushes as long as you hold it.
  4. Release + to stop; press WALK again if it timed out.
  5. Walk assist ends when you press −, the wheel blocks or speed exceeds 6 km/h.
Tip: Higher mode = stronger push; select TURBO for a loaded bike on a ramp.

Can't find it?

If nothing happens: mode is OFF, WALK timed out, or the manufacturer disabled walk assist for your market in DiagnosticTool.
