Bosch Kiox (BES2): pair with the eBike Connect app via Bluetooth

Bosch Kiox (BES2)

The classic Kiox has Bluetooth and pairs with eBike Connect (not eBike Flow). Five minutes; no dealer needed.

Step by step

  1. Install 'Bosch eBike Connect' and create or log in to an account. Set your phone to the language you want the app in before registering.
  2. Switch the Kiox on. Open Settings > 'Bluetooth' (on older firmware: My Kiox > Bluetooth) and set it to on / 'Pair new device'.
  3. In the app tap 'Connect eBike' or the + symbol. The app searches; select the Kiox when it appears.
  4. Confirm the pairing code shown on the Kiox in the app.
  5. Once connected, the app shows your bike; rides, lock and firmware updates for the display now run through it.
Tip: Pair from inside the eBike Connect app, not from the phone's Bluetooth settings; a pairing made in the phone menu often blocks the app from connecting.

Can't find it?

If the Kiox does not appear: forget it in the phone's Bluetooth list, switch the Kiox off and on, and search again with the app open. eBike Flow will never find a BUI330; that app is for the Smart System.
