Bosch Kiox (BES2): reset the trip and set automatic trip reset
Reset the trip from the trip screen or the settings menu; you can also let the Kiox reset it automatically after a pause. Ten seconds, no app needed.
Step by step
- Switch the Kiox on and press > until the 'Trip' screen is shown.
- Press and hold the select button on the control unit for about 1 second; trip distance, time and average reset to zero.
- Alternatively: Settings > My eBike > 'Reset trip' and confirm.
- For automatic resets: Settings > My eBike > 'Auto trip reset' and choose after how many hours of standstill the trip should clear (or off).
- Press < to return to the ride screens.
Tip: Set Auto trip reset to 4 hours and every commute starts at zero without touching a button.
Can't find it?
If the hold-select trick does nothing, you are not on the trip screen; use the menu path instead. Total distance and 'Range' cannot be reset on any Bosch display.
Frequently asked
Can I reset the total distance?
No, the odometer is non-resettable.
What does Auto trip reset do exactly?
Clears trip values automatically once the bike has been off for the chosen number of hours.
Are the trips also saved in eBike Connect?
Yes, rides are recorded in the app when connected, independent of the trip counter on the display.
