Bosch Kiox (BES2): set the time and time format
The Kiox syncs time from your phone when eBike Connect is connected; without the app you set it by hand under My Kiox. One minute.
Step by step
- Switch the Kiox on.
- On the status screen (press < on the control unit until you reach it), press the select button (centre of the control unit) to open 'Settings'.
- Go to 'My Kiox' and confirm.
- Move to 'Time', confirm, set hours and minutes with + / − and confirm each with select.
- Move to 'Time format' to choose 12h or 24h.
- Press < to return to the ride screens.
Tip: Pair the Kiox with eBike Connect once and the clock follows your phone, including daylight saving.
Can't find it?
If the time resets after the display is removed for a while, the internal buffer is flat; mount it and ride, it recharges. If 'Time' is greyed out, the display is set to take time from the app; disconnect Bluetooth briefly or set it in the app.

Does the Kiox adjust for summer time?
Only when connected to eBike Connect; otherwise set it by hand.
Can I set a date?
No, only time. Ride dates come from the app when synced.
Why is the clock wrong after the winter?
The display was likely stored uncharged; set the time once and it will keep it.
