Bosch Intuvia: enable and use walk assist

Bosch Intuvia

Walk assist pushes the bike at up to 6 km/h while you walk beside it. It is built in; you use the WALK and + buttons on the control unit. No setup needed.

Step by step

  1. Switch the bike on and choose any mode except OFF (ECO is enough).
  2. Press the WALK button on the control unit once. 'WALK' appears on the Intuvia.
  3. Within a few seconds, press and hold + on the control unit. The motor pushes the bike at walking pace as long as you hold +.
  4. Release + to stop. If it timed out, press WALK again first.
  5. Walk assist stops automatically when you press −, the wheel blocks or the bike goes faster than 6 km/h.
Tip: Select TURBO before using walk assist on a steep ramp or with panniers; the push is noticeably stronger.

Can't find it?

If nothing happens: mode is OFF, the WALK press timed out, or the manufacturer disabled walk assist for your market in DiagnosticTool. Some older control units have the WALK button on the underside.
