Bosch Intuvia: switch from mph to km/h (or km/h to mph)
Units are in the Intuvia's configuration menu next to language and clock. One minute, no dealer or app.
Step by step
- Switch the bike on.
- Press and hold reset and i on the display together until the configuration menu appears.
- Press i to step through the items until you reach 'Units' (shown as 'km/mi' on some firmware).
- Press + or − to switch between km and mi. Speed, trip, total distance and range all follow.
- Press and hold reset for about 3 seconds to save and go back to the ride screen.
Tip: Same button combo in every language, so an imported bike showing 'Einheiten' is no obstacle.
Can't find it?
If you cannot find 'Units', keep pressing i; the list wraps around. If the menu does not open at all, you may have an Intuvia 100 (Smart System): units for that one are set in the eBike Flow app.
Frequently asked
Does mph/km change the 25 km/h cut-off?
No. Units are display-only; the cut-off is in the drive unit and dealer-set.
Why did my units change after a service?
A firmware update can reset the display to defaults. Set them again in the configuration menu.
Is the time format in the same menu?
Yes, 12h/24h is a separate item a few presses of i further on.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
