Bosch Intuvia: set the time and 12h/24h format

Bosch Intuvia

The Intuvia has no internet connection, so you set the clock by hand, including twice a year for daylight saving. One minute in the configuration menu.

Step by step

  1. Switch the bike on.
  2. Press and hold reset and i together until the configuration menu appears.
  3. Press i until the 'Time' line is highlighted.
  4. Adjust with + (forward) and − (back). On the display itself the light button acts as + and the power button as −.
  5. Press i to move on to 'Time format' and choose 12h or 24h with + / −.
  6. Press and hold reset for about 3 seconds to save and return to the ride screen.
Tip: Late March and late October: when you change the kitchen clock, change the Intuvia too, otherwise your ride history will be an hour off.

Can't find it?

If the clock resets to 00:00 every time you switch on, the display's internal buffer battery is flat or the display has been off the bike for too long; ride for a while with it mounted and it usually keeps time again. If not, the display needs replacing.

Frequently asked

Does the Intuvia adjust for summer time automatically?

No. Classic Line displays have no connection; set it by hand.

Why does the time reset when I remove the display?

The Intuvia keeps time from a small internal buffer; if it has been removed for days it may lose the time.

Can I set the date?

The Intuvia only has a clock, not a calendar.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
