Reset trip data on a Shimano STEPS SC-EM800, SC-EN600 or SC-EN500
Trip distance, time and averages clear via [Clear] in the settings menu. ODO cannot be reset.
Step by step
- Stop the bike and switch it on. Press and hold both assist buttons (X and Y) on the SW-EM800 switch at the same time until the settings menu opens. On an SC-EN600 with buttons on the display, hold the display's function button instead.
- Scroll with X/Y, confirm with the A (function) button.
- Scroll to [Clear] and press A.
- Confirm with A. DST, TIME, AVG, MAX return to zero.
- Scroll to [Exit] and press A.
Tip: Quick way on most firmware: show DST on the ride screen and hold A for two seconds until it clears.
Can't find it?
No [Clear] item: brand-trimmed menu. E-TUBE Ride keeps its own ride log and starts a new ride on each connection.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
