How to use walk assist on a Ride1Up

Ride1Up displays (Turbo, Roadster, 700 series)

Walk mode pushes the bike at 6 km/h (4 mph) while '-' is held.

Step by step

  1. With the display on, hold '-' for 2 seconds.
  2. The display shows a walk icon; keep holding.
  3. Release to stop; brakes cut it too.
  4. Roadster: same, hold '-'; the Roadster is light enough that many owners never use it.
Tip: Walk mode on the Portola and Revv 1 is strong; keep the brake covered.

Can't find it?

If holding '-' only lowers the level, go to level 0 and hold longer.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
