How to reset the trip distance on Ride1Up displays

Ride1Up displays (Turbo, Roadster, 700 series)

Trip is cleared from the ride screen or a 'Trip reset' entry in the menu; ODO is permanent.

Step by step

  1. Switch the display on and stop.
  2. Press power/M briefly until 'TRIP' shows.
  3. Press and hold the power/M button and '-' together for 2 seconds; TRIP resets.
  4. Alternatively: With the display on and the bike stationary, press and hold '+' and '-' together for about 2 seconds to open the settings menu. Then find 'TRIP reset' / 'Clear' and confirm.
  5. Roadster compact display: hold power and '+' together.
Tip: Some KD firmware resets TRIP automatically after 30 minutes off.

Can't find it?

If you enter the settings menu instead, you held the wrong pair; exit and use power/M with one arrow.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
