How to change mph to km/h on Ride1Up displays (700 Series, Turbo, Roadster, Core-5, LMT'D)

Ride1Up displays (Turbo, Roadster, 700 series)

Ride1Up uses KD-series colour displays (700 Series, LMT'D, Core-5, Turbo) and a compact display on the Roadster. Units are in the first settings screen on all of them.

Step by step

  1. With the display on and the bike stationary, press and hold '+' and '-' together for about 2 seconds to open the settings menu.
  2. The first item is 'Unit' (or 'Sys'): press '+'/'-' to switch between 'Metric' (km/h) and 'Imperial' (mph). On menus with codes, this is P01 or the 'S7' screen.
  3. Press the power/M button to confirm and move on, then hold '+' and '-' (or select 'Exit') to leave.
  4. Roadster v2 / v3 compact display: hold power for 2 seconds > 'Unit'.
  5. Speedometer, trip and odometer switch together.
Tip: Units do not change the speed-limit setting; it converts.

Can't find it?

If the first item is brightness, press power/M once more; 'Unit' is the second screen on some KD firmware.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
