How to use walk assist on a Lectric XP or XPedition

Lectric XP 2.0 / 3.0 / XPedition display

Walk mode pushes the bike at about 6 km/h (4 mph). Useful for the XPedition with cargo.

Step by step

  1. With the display on, press and hold '-' for 2 seconds.
  2. The display shows a walking icon; keep holding.
  3. Release to stop. Brake levers also cut it.
  4. Works in any PAS level.
Tip: On the folded XP walk mode still works; be careful, the folded bike is unstable.

Can't find it?

If holding '-' only lowers the level, hold longer, or go to level 0 first.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
