How to reset the trip distance on a Lectric XP or XPedition

Lectric XP 2.0 / 3.0 / XPedition display

TRIP resets from the ride screen; ODO is permanent.

Step by step

  1. Switch the display on and stop the bike.
  2. Press the power/M button briefly until the lower field shows 'TRIP'.
  3. Press and hold the power/M button and '-' together for about 2 seconds; TRIP resets to 0.
  4. If that does nothing, try holding '+' and power/M instead (XPedition firmware).
  5. TRIP also resets automatically after the bike has been off for a while on some firmware.
Tip: There is no reset for ODO on any Lectric display.

Can't find it?

If you land in the P-menu, you held '+' and '-'; exit (hold both again) and use power/M plus one arrow.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
