How to change mph to km/h on the Lectric XP 2.0, XP 3.0 and XPedition display

Lectric XP 2.0 / 3.0 / XPedition display

Units are P-setting P02 on the Lectric display. It changes the speedometer, trip and odometer readouts.

Step by step

  1. With the display on and the bike stationary, press and hold '+' and '-' together for about 1 second to open the P-settings menu (P01 appears).
  2. Press the power/M button to step from P01 (brightness) to P02 (units).
  3. Use '+'/'-' to switch between 0 (km/h) and 1 (mph).
  4. Hold '+' and '-' again (or wait 10 seconds) to save and exit.
  5. Check the speedometer label; the odometer converts at the same time.
Tip: Units do not change the P08 speed limit, but the value shown in P08 converts (20 mph = 32 km/h).

Can't find it?

On the XP 1.0 (older LCD) the setting is 'P02' too; if your menu starts at P1 (no leading zero), you have the 1.0 firmware and the order is the same.

Frequently asked

Does km/h reduce the speed limit?

No; P08 controls the limit.

The display shows km/h after a battery change.

The controller reverted to defaults; set P02 again.

Is there an app?

The XP 3.0 and XPedition have no app; the Lectric app only works on 2024+ models (XP 4, XPedition 2.0).

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
