How to change the backlight on the Lectric display
Brightness is P01, three levels.
Step by step
- With the display on and the bike stationary, press and hold '+' and '-' together for about 1 second to open the P-settings menu (P01 appears).
- P01 shows first. Use '+'/'-' to set 1 (dim) to 3 (bright).
- Hold '+' and '-' to save and exit.
- Switch the display off and on; the new level is kept.
Tip: Use 3; the small display is hard to read at 1 in daylight.
Can't find it?
If P01 is not brightness on your unit, it is 'P01 backlight' on the XP 1.0 which is the same thing.

Is there auto brightness?
No.
The display is dim even on 3.
Water ingress; common after pressure washing. Dry it in a warm room for a day.
Can I turn the backlight off?
No.
