Reset the trip counter on Giant RideControl Evo, Dash, One or Ergo
On Evo and Dash the trip resets with a long press on the ride screen. RideControl One has no trip on the bike; the app keeps rides instead. ODO is not resettable.
Step by step
- RideControl Evo: cycle to the TRIP screen with the mode (i) button, then hold it for about two seconds until it reads 0.0.
- RideControl Dash: open menu > [Reset trip] or hold the select button on the trip screen.
- RideControl One / Ergo: Open the Giant RideControl app on the phone, switch the bike on and connect (see the pairing guide). End the current ride in the app and start a new one.
- If ODO also seems wrong on a second-hand bike, note it: the bike may have had a drive-unit or display swap.
Tip: Trip auto-clears after a long power-off on some firmware; not a fault.
Can't find it?
Long press opens settings instead: on older Evo firmware the reset is on the AVG screen. Try each screen once.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
