Set the time on Giant RideControl Dash or Evo
RideControl Dash syncs its clock from the app; Evo shows time on newer firmware and also takes it from the app. There is no manual clock setting on One or Ergo (no screen).
Step by step
- Open the Giant RideControl app on the phone, switch the bike on and connect (see the pairing guide). The clock on the display syncs to the phone time on connection.
- RideControl Dash manual: settings > [Time] > set hours and minutes with +/-, confirm.
- Evo: no manual entry; connect the app once after every long storage.
- Check the display; the time shows on the ride screen.
Tip: Connect the app for ten seconds after the clocks change; that is the whole daylight-saving procedure.
Can't find it?
Clock missing on Evo: older firmware has no clock at all. Update via the app to get it.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
