Use walk assist on a Specialized Turbo (Levo, Vado, Como, Tero) with the handlebar remote

Specialized Turbo (TCU, TCD, Mastermind TCU/TCD) + Mission Control / Specialized app

The remote has a dedicated walk button (walking figure). Hold it and the motor pushes at up to 6 km/h; on Mastermind bikes the display shows WALK while active.

Step by step

  1. Stop and switch the bike on. Select any mode except OFF.
  2. Press and hold the walk button on the remote. The motor starts after about a second.
  3. Keep it held while walking; release to stop.
  4. Bikes with the 2.0 remote (2022+): a short press of walk arms it and holding + pushes; if nothing happens, try that.
Tip: Low gear first; on a Levo the push is far stronger in the lowest gear.

Can't find it?

No walk button on the remote: some Vado/Como remotes map walk to a long press of -. Check the app's [Controls] page for the mapping on your bike.
