Pair a Specialized Turbo (TCU, TCD, Mastermind TCU/TCD) with the Mission Control or Specialized app
Pairing needs the bike's 6-digit code. On Mastermind it is shown on the screen; on the older TCU it is printed on a sticker under the TCU or on the card that came with the bike. That code is what most second-hand owners are missing.
Step by step
- Install Mission Control (TCU/TCD bikes) or the Specialized app (Mastermind bikes, 2022+) and sign in.
- Switch the bike on. Tap [Add bike] / [Connect] in the app. Pair only in the app, not in the phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Select the bike (name like TCU_xxxx or the model name).
- Enter the 6-digit code: Mastermind shows it on screen when you connect; older TCU: the code is on the sticker on the TCU (remove the TCU with a 2 mm hex key, code on the back) or on the Turbo card in the document wallet.
- Wait for the app to load battery, ODO and tune settings.
- Later connections are automatic when the bike is on and the phone nearby.
Can't find it?
Bike not listed: bike off, another phone connected, or (Android) no location permission. TCU with a red LED: check the error code before pairing. Code lost: dealer tool reads it.
