Reset the trip counter on a Specialized Turbo with TCD or Mastermind TCU/TCD

Specialized Turbo (TCU, TCD, Mastermind TCU/TCD) + Mission Control / Specialized app

Trip data resets from the display's Settings menu on Mastermind and TCD, or via the app ride log. ODO cannot be reset.

Step by step

  1. Mastermind TCU/TCD: open Settings (hold the S button on the remote), choose [Reset trip] or [Trip] > reset, confirm.
  2. TCD: hold the lower button to open settings, step to Trip reset, confirm.
  3. Plain TCU (no screen): Open the Mission Control app (or the Specialized app on 2022+ Mastermind bikes), switch the bike on and connect (see the pairing guide). End the ride and start a new one; the app is your trip counter.
  4. Confirm on the ride screen that TRIP shows 0.0.
Tip: On Mastermind, the trip page can be set to auto-reset after 4 hours of inactivity in Settings; useful if you forget.

Can't find it?

No reset option: firmware too old. Update via the app.

Frequently asked

Can I reset ODO on a Specialized Turbo?

No. ODO lives in the motor/TCU and is the mileage proof for a second-hand bike.

Trip resets by itself.

Auto-reset is on. Change it in Settings.

Does the range estimate reset?

No; it uses battery state and current mode.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
