Changing the unit on an SW900, EN06, 810LED or KD718 display

SW900 / EN06 / 810LED / KD718 generic displays

The SW900 uses the same P-list as the S866: P02 is the unit. The EN06 and 810LED have a smaller list where unit is the second item; the KD718 has a named menu.

Step by step

  1. Switch the display on. Within 10 seconds, press and hold ▲ and ▼ (or + and −) together for about 2 seconds until P01 appears. Most SW900 have no password; if a code is requested, the published defaults are 1919 or 8018.
  2. Press power once: P02. Set 0 = km/h, 1 = mph with ▲ / ▼.
  3. Power (short press) moves to the next parameter; ▲ / ▼ change the value; hold ▲ and ▼ together to save and exit.
  4. KD718: hold ▲ and ▼ → 'Unit' is the second menu line; select with power, change with ▲ / ▼, exit via 'Exit'.
  5. 810LED (LED bar display, no numbers): there is no unit; it shows nothing to convert.
  6. Check the riding screen unit label.
Tip: The EN06 exit gesture differs: hold power for 2 seconds saves and leaves. Holding ▲ and ▼ on the EN06 in the settings jumps back to P01 without saving.

Can't find it?

Settings never open: hold within the first 10 seconds after power-on and hold longer (3–5 s). Display shows 'E' and a number instead: an error is active and the settings are blocked until it clears; see error codes.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
