Setting 36 V / 48 V / 52 V on an SW900, EN06 or KD718 so the battery bar is right

SW900 / EN06 / 810LED / KD718 generic displays

P03 sets the nominal pack voltage the display assumes for the bars. The KD718 detects it automatically on most firmware.

Step by step

  1. Switch the display on. Within 10 seconds, press and hold ▲ and ▼ (or + and −) together for about 2 seconds until P01 appears. Most SW900 have no password; if a code is requested, the published defaults are 1919 or 8018.
  2. Press power to P03: choose 24 / 36 / 48 / 60 / 72 (52 where offered).
  3. Press power to P15: low-voltage cut-off in volts (36 V pack ≈ 31, 48 V ≈ 41, 52 V ≈ 44).
  4. Power (short press) moves to the next parameter; ▲ / ▼ change the value; hold ▲ and ▼ together to save and exit.
  5. A fully charged pack should show every bar; recheck after 10 km.
Tip: 52 V pack with no 52 option: P03 = 48 and P15 = 44. The bar stays full longer than it should; watch the voltage field instead (cycle with power).

Can't find it?

Empty bar on a full pack: P03 too high. Full bar until sudden death: P03 too low. Bars flicker under load: pack sag, not display.

Frequently asked

Does P03 change the motor power?

No, only the bar scale.

KD718 no P03?

Auto-detect; if wrong, power the display up with the pack fully charged so it re-detects.

810LED bars wrong?

The LED bar reads a fixed 36/48 V threshold set by a jumper on some controllers; not display-adjustable.

Manuals and video

These displays are sold unbranded by many factories, so there is no single official manual. Check the manual that came with your bike, or your bike brand's support page.

Videos found on YouTube and checked automatically; they are other people's work, not ours.
