How to view, export and delete rides in the Cowboy app

Cowboy 3 / 4 / Cruiser (Cowboy app)

A Cowboy has no trip counter to reset; every ride is logged automatically in the app under 'Rides'. You can delete individual rides but not the total odometer.

Step by step

  1. Open the Cowboy app and tap 'Rides' (or the activity icon).
  2. Tap a ride to see distance, average speed, elevation and the map.
  3. To delete a ride, swipe left on it (iOS) or long-press (Android) and tap 'Delete'.
  4. To export: Settings > 'Integrations' > connect Strava, Apple Health or Google Fit; rides sync automatically from then on.
  5. The total odometer under Settings > 'Bike' > 'About' cannot be reset; it is read from the motor controller.
Tip: Ride tracking only works when the app was open (or running in the background with location permission) during the ride.

Can't find it?

If rides are missing, give the app 'Always' location permission and disable battery optimisation for it on Android.

Frequently asked

Can I reset the total km for resale?

No; and buyers can read it from the app.

Does ride tracking cost battery?

Phone battery, yes (GPS). Bike battery, no.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
