Bosch Purion: pairing with a phone app (what's possible)
The Purion has no Bluetooth, so it cannot be paired with eBike Connect or eBike Flow. The only way to connect a Purion bike to an app is a dealer-fitted ConnectModule. This guide saves you searching for a menu that does not exist.
Step by step
- Check the settings menu (hold − for 1 second): there is no Bluetooth or pairing item on a Purion.
- If you want app features (ride recording, lock, tracking) on a Classic Line bike, ask a Bosch dealer about the ConnectModule; it pairs the drive unit with the eBike Connect app and is fitted in the workshop.
- Alternatively a dealer can swap the Purion for a Kiox (BUI330), which has Bluetooth, but this requires a different cable and is a workshop job.
- Do not install eBike Flow: that app is for the Smart System generation and will not find a Classic Line bike.
Can't find it?
If a seller told you the bike 'works with the Bosch app', check the display: a Purion bike only connects if a ConnectModule was fitted. Purion 200 (Smart System) is a different, newer unit with the same name; that one does pair with eBike Flow.
Frequently asked
Can I connect my Purion to eBike Flow?
No. eBike Flow is for the Smart System. The classic Purion has no Bluetooth at all.
Which app works with the classic Purion?
None directly. With a dealer-fitted ConnectModule the bike appears in eBike Connect.
Is the Purion 200 the same thing?
No. The Purion 200 is a Smart System unit and pairs with eBike Flow. The classic Purion (BUI210/215) does not.
