Bosch Nyon: reset the trip distance and ride statistics

Bosch Nyon

Trip values reset from the ride screen or under Settings; the Nyon also saves each ride as an activity in the app, so resetting loses nothing. Ten seconds.

Step by step

  1. On the ride screen tap and hold the trip value (or tap the 'Reset' button on the 'Trip' tile), then confirm.
  2. Alternatively: Settings (gear) > 'My eBike' > 'Reset trip data'.
  3. Automatic reset: Settings > My eBike > 'Auto trip reset' and choose after how many hours of standstill the trip clears.
  4. Total distance (odometer) cannot be reset.
  5. Ride history stays available under 'Activities' on the Nyon and in the app.
Tip: Use Auto trip reset instead of tapping: a 4-hour setting starts every commute at zero.

Can't find it?

If the reset button is missing on your ride screen, edit the screen layout (Settings > Screens) to add the Trip tile, or use the menu path. BUI275 software versions differ slightly in wording.

Frequently asked

No, odometer is non-resettable.

Do I lose my activities when I reset the trip?

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
