Bosch Nyon: turn the lights on and off, automatic and always-on lights

Lights are switched with the light button on the control unit; the BUI350 can set automatic or always-on lighting in eBike Flow where the manufacturer allows. One minute.

Step by step

  1. Switch the bike on.
  2. Press the light button (bulb icon) on the control unit (BUI275: on the joystick unit; BUI350: on the LED Remote / Mini Remote). The Nyon shows a light symbol and switches to its dark scheme.
  3. Press again to switch off.
  4. BUI350 automatic/always-on: eBike Flow > Settings > your eBike > 'Lighting' > Manual / Auto / Always on, if offered.
  5. BUI275: no automatic mode on the display; always-on is a dealer setting in DiagnosticTool.
Tip: Daytime running lights cost almost no range; leave them on for visibility.

Can't find it?

If the button does nothing and the lights are permanently on, the manufacturer configured always-on for your market. A lighting error code when pressing the button: see our error-code pages.

Can I set auto lights on the Nyon?

BUI350: in eBike Flow if the bike has a light sensor and the manufacturer allows it. BUI275: no.

Why can't I switch the lights off?

Yes, the Nyon switches to its dark colour scheme automatically.
