How to change speed units in the My SmartBike app and on a Pulsar display

Mahle X35 / X20 (iWoc button, My SmartBike app)

The iWoc shows no numbers; units are set in the app and apply to the app, the Pulsar display and recorded rides.

Step by step

  1. Open My SmartBike and tap the profile icon.
  2. Settings > 'Units' > 'Metric' or 'Imperial'.
  3. Return to the bike screen; speed and range update.
  4. Pulsar One / Two: the display follows the app setting after the next connection; without the app hold the Pulsar's centre button for 2 seconds > 'Units'.
Tip: Range in the app is in the same unit and is calculated from the last 10 km, so it moves a lot at first.

Can't find it?

Older 'ebikemotion' app: Settings > 'Preferences' > 'Distance unit'.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
