Walk assist (6 km/h) on a King-Meter J-LCD, SW-LCD, K5345 or SW102
Hold ▼ for about 2 seconds: the bike drives at walking pace while you hold. Lights are the opposite: hold ▲.
Step by step
- Switch on. Hold ▼ for about 2 seconds until the walk icon (or 'P' / '6 km') appears.
- Keep ▼ held; release to stop. Brake levers also cut it.
- Lights: hold ▲ for 2 seconds; the backlight dims to night mode at the same time.
- Backlight level on the J-LCD is the third basic setting (1–5).
Tip: The SW102's tiny − button needs a firm press; a light touch registers as a level change instead of walk.
Can't find it?
No walk: brake icon on, OEM firmware without walk, or a worn ▼ key. Faster than 6 km/h: modified controller.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
