How the Fazua ride modes work (Breeze, River, Rocket) and how to customise them in the app

Fazua Ride 50 / 60 (Fazua app, Ring control)

Fazua Ride 50 and 60 have three support modes plus off; on the Ride 60 a fourth 'Boost' is triggered by holding the Ring Control. Each mode's power and 'ramp' can be adjusted in the Fazua app.

Step by step

  1. On the bike: Ride 50: press the up/down buttons on the Remote (LED colour shows the mode). Ride 60: tap the Ring Control to cycle Off (no light) > Breeze (white) > River (green) > Rocket (red).
  2. Ride 60 Boost: hold the Ring Control for 2 seconds while in Rocket; it gives maximum torque for about 12 seconds.
  3. In the app: connect, open the bike, tap 'Ride modes'.
  4. Pick a mode and adjust 'Support' (percentage of max power, e.g. 60 W to 450 W on Ride 60), 'Torque' (max Nm) and 'Ramp' (how quickly it responds).
  5. Use the presets: 'Range', 'Balanced', 'Performance'. Save; the drive picks it up immediately.
  6. Reset to factory: 'Restore defaults' on the same screen.
Tip: For long climbs set River to 250 W with a soft ramp and use Rocket only for the steep bits; Ride 60 range in Rocket is about half of River.

Can't find it?

No 'Ride modes' editor means you are on a shared bike (the owner controls tuning) or the Ride 50 firmware is older than 2021; update first.

Frequently asked

Why does the motor cut out abruptly at 25 km/h?

Fazua's drive decouples at the limit; there is no drag but the transition is noticeable. A softer ramp in the app helps.

Can I add a fourth mode?

No; three modes plus Boost on Ride 60.

The Ring Control shows purple.

Purple is the charging/battery indication or a warning; check the app for an error code.

Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
