How to pair the Fazua app with a Ride 50 or Ride 60 drive and fix pairing failures
Fazua Ride 50 (Evation) and Ride 60 connect to the Fazua app over Bluetooth. The drive must be awake, and on the Ride 60 pairing is confirmed on the Ring Control.
Step by step
- Install the Fazua app (not the old 'Fazua Toolbox', which is dealer software), create an account, and allow Bluetooth (Android: also Location).
- Wake the drive: Ride 50: press the button on the Remote bX / Remote fX on the handlebar. Ride 60: press the Ring Control on the top tube.
- In the app tap 'Add bike' / '+'. The drive appears as 'Fazua Ride 50' or 'Fazua Ride 60' plus part of the serial.
- Tap it. Ride 60: the Ring Control blinks white; press it once to confirm pairing. Ride 50: pairing completes without confirmation.
- The app shows battery, ride modes and firmware version.
- If the drive is not found: make sure the battery/drivepack is clicked in and charged, the drive is awake (LEDs on), and no other phone is connected. Toggle Bluetooth and retry.
- Still nothing: remove the drivepack (Ride 50) or switch the bike off for a minute (Ride 60), then wake it and retry with the phone touching the down tube.
Tip: Only one phone can be connected at a time. A bike computer connected over Bluetooth (Garmin, Wahoo) blocks the app; disconnect it first.
Can't find it?
If 'Add bike' shows nothing after 30 seconds, the drive has gone to sleep; wake it again and keep the app on the scan screen.

Do I need the app?
No. All riding functions work without it. The app is for ride-mode tuning, units, firmware and ride recording.
Which app: Fazua or Fazua Toolbox?
Fazua app for Ride 50 and 60. Toolbox is the older dealer tool for Evation; it is no longer maintained for riders.
Pairing asks for a PIN.
Only on early Ride 50 firmware; the PIN is 0000 or the last four digits of the drive serial.
